● Slots Superstition Strategies  ●

Charles Fey’s Liberty Bell, 1895, is credited as being the very first slot machine.  That means the long history of slots spans for at least a century.  To this day millions of people love slot machines making it one of the top three most played casino style games.  It is very likely that so many gamblers love slot because of the inherent simplicity of the game.  Great slot machine action can be found online, at traditional land-based casinos, and on luxurious casino boats.

Slot machines, at least those found in respectable establishments, are games of pure chance.  Most slots strategies revolve around helping players maximize their spending and avoiding the clutches of debt.  However, as with any game that has the longevity of the slot machine, whispers and rumors have caused all sorts of mythical strategies to surface.

Here are a few of these “strategies”.  These only apply to physical slot machines with the traditional pull handle.  Many new slot machines and online slots games rely on the push of a button or the click of a mouse to spin its reels.  Once again, these methods are more than likely superstitions

The Slow Pull

The slow pull is a very simple method.  Of course, the player should first insert the appropriate amount of coinage for the slot machine being played.  When it comes time to pull the lever, this technique calls for the slowest, most steady pull possible until the reel begins spinning.  At this point the lever can either be released or pushed back to its starting position.

The End Yank

The end yank is very similar to the slow pull.  It requires the lever to be pulled down bit by bit. Just as it approaches its lowest point, give the lever a quick, hard yank to the bottom and release.  The yank supposedly affects the already spinning reel.

Chatting the Slot Machine

If you scoffed at the other methods, wait till you hear this one.  Chatting the slot machine is quite literally providing verbal encouragement to the machine to persuade it to land on a jackpot.  It may sound crazy, but take a walk through a major Las Vegas casino, you are guaranteed to witness a handful of players talking, begging, and even singing to their slot machine.

It is not likely any of these methods will be useful.  As a matter of fact one would hope that in a reputable casino there are not any such bugs that might interfere with the random nature of the machine.  But…

...When it’s you against the casinos, anything that might help is worth a shot.
